Gentlemen's Relish

The story follows Kingdom Swann, a once-renowned classical portraitist whose career has faltered. After a leading gallery rejects his work, Swann contemplates giving up. However, his housekeeper, Violet Askey, encourages him to pivot towards photography, leading him to create a new line of work featuring nude portraits in classical and exotic styles.

As Swann's photography business gains traction, it also invites controversy. His new artwork attracts the attention of a SOHO pornographer, resulting in a scandal that complicates his professional life. Meanwhile, Violet becomes embroiled in the suffragette movement, which adds another layer of tension to their relationship. The film captures the intersection of art, personal struggle, and societal issues in early 20th century Britain.
