Gina et Cléopâtre

The story unfolds in a small Parisian theater where Hans-Peter Hansel, known as HPH, is preparing to stage a production of "Antoine et Cléopâtre." Gina Monte-Fiori, a prominent figure in the Parisian theater scene, has long dreamed of taking on a Shakespearean role but has faced disappointments despite voicing her aspirations to the press.

The plot thickens when Gina's former lover, Gino di Lucca, an American producer, learns of her desire. He teams up with HPH to make Gina's dream a reality by producing the play in one of the largest theaters in Paris, but with one stipulation: Gina must play Cleopatra. This film offers a comedic look at ambition, nostalgia, and the complexities of theater life.
