Gülcemal is quite the oddball in the comedy genre. It revolves around a guy who’s spent his life in isolation, just him and nature, until he finds out he's inherited his father's estate—a father he never actually met. The humor is absurd, blending chaos and danger in a way that feels both fresh and unpredictable. The pacing has a nice rhythm, shifting from peaceful moments to slapstick scenarios. And while we don’t know much about the director, the performances have this raw quality, which adds to that earthy atmosphere. It’s not your typical comedy. It’s more about the quirks of life and how silly things can get when you least expect it. Definitely has its own vibe, for sure.
