Good Morning, Lenin!

The documentary follows a group of western left-wingers as they embark on a journey to Poland, aiming to confront their preconceived notions of communism. They participate in various activities organized by the 'Crazy Guides' agency, including visits to historical sites and immersive experiences in Nowa Huta, a city emblematic of socio-realism.

Throughout their adventure, the tourists engage in hands-on activities like milking cows and ploughing fields, which give them insight into the daily lives of villagers. The visit to a metallurgical factory, along with discussions with local residents, challenges their initial beliefs about the idealized version of a socialist utopia.
