So, Goodtime is this intense drama that follows Hyungdo, an express delivery driver, who's just having one of those days. His motorcycle gives out on him, and then he gets into a spat with a stranger, all while his sister is trying to pull him to the hospital for their dad in the ICU. But instead of heading to family, he gets sidetracked delivering this Eternity Plant. Itβs a mix of desperation and a search for connection, I think. The pacing feels frantic, mirroring Hyungdo's spiraling day. There's a rawness in the performances that really grounds the film, and there's something about its atmosphere β it feels very much like a slice of life, but with a twist of existential dread. A unique blend, for sure, that leaves you pondering long after.
