The film follows Ganesan, portrayed by Vignesh, an irresponsible youth who vows to change his ways after promising his mother. He finds a job that involves taking down wrong-doers, which catches the attention of the local don, Thondaman, played by Sathyaraj. Impressed by Thondaman's approach to justice, Ganesan chooses to align himself with him, leading to a complicated relationship that blurs the lines between right and wrong.

Romance intertwines with the action as Ganesan falls in love with Poonkodi, played by Monica. Their love story faces challenges, especially from a local Minister's son who becomes obsessed with Poonkodi. As tensions rise, a police officer, portrayed by Ranjith, conspires to drive a wedge between Ganesan and Thondaman, complicating the narrative further. The film encapsulates the struggle between personal desires and societal expectations, set against the backdrop of a rural landscape.
