Grandpa, Father and Son

The film follows a father and son who, after the death of the mother, find themselves growing apart. Their shared responsibility for the grandfather after his fall brings them back together, allowing them to reconnect and reflect on their family's past. However, the narrative takes a turn when the grandfather suffers another accident, leading to difficult decisions about his care.

Directed by a collaboration between Fresh Wave and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, 'Grandpa, Father and Son' presents a poignant look at familial bonds and the impact of caregiving on relationships. The film features performances by Mak Lok-San, Stephen Tsui Sin Tsang, and Kung Chi-yip, who portray the complex emotions of love and duty within a family facing challenges.
