The film follows matriarch Sabahat and her niece Güllü as they navigate their neighborhood's first election for 'çeribaşı.' The colorful characters, including rival candidates Uncle Bekir and family friend Bayram, find themselves embroiled in drunken brawls and police interventions. A suitcase mix-up involving hidden cash creates unexpected twists, ultimately altering the community's fortunes.
