HAJIKERU

The story centers on Natsumi, who lives with her estranged mother in a provincial town. Working at a supermarket, she faces the scrutiny of the townspeople, who are quick to spread gossip about her and others. The arrival of Keiko, an attractive young woman from Tokyo, becomes a turning point for Natsumi.

As Natsumi and Keiko develop a friendship, they find solace in one another amidst the societal pressures surrounding them.
