Happy New Year

The story follows Li, a man striving to mend his estranged relationship with his wife Rita and daughter Chika. After the death of a neighbor, Li becomes determined to improve his role as a husband and father before it’s too late. As Lunar New Year approaches, he makes efforts to reconnect with his family through small, meaningful gestures.

Despite initial skepticism, Rita and Chika begin to notice Li’s attempts to change and gradually accept him back into their lives.
