Harash is interestingly layered, blending comedy and drama in a unique way. The setting of Casablanca gives it this vibrant yet gritty atmosphere, where you can really feel the tension in the air. Lwiyen's petty schemes unfold at a somewhat relaxed pace, but the looming threat from Omar adds this undercurrent of urgency. Assad's character brings a nihilistic edge, and his desire to return to the Sahara contrasts sharply with Lwiyen's chaotic life. The performances are quite engaging, with a certain rawness that feels authentic. It's not flashy, but there’s something really distinctive about its approach to friendship and desperation, wrapped up in those everyday struggles. Definitely one of those films that sticks with you for its character depth.
