Hari Om Vithala

The film follows Ganya, portrayed by Makarand Anaspure, who is characterized by his innocence and faith in Lord Vithala. His devotion creates tension with his mother and wife, Ratna, leading to a series of unfortunate events that challenge his mental stability. The village's response to his claims of divine communication adds complexity to the story, as only the local money lender supports him, ultimately leading to Ganya losing his ancestral land.

After a failed suicide attempt, Ganya is rescued by a herdsman who shares his faith in Lord Vithala. This pivotal moment sets Ganya on a journey to Bombay, where he faces various hardships but also finds unexpected support from Bapu, a local vendor. His story culminates in a return to the village with newfound wealth from a singing competition, only to encounter shocking revelations that could change his life forever.
