Hart am Wind

The film follows Peter Drews, an electrician and brigadier at a Baltic Sea dockyard. His leadership style is marked by narcissism and imperiousness, which affects the morale of his diligent team. After receiving his conscription call, Peter insists that his entire brigade join him in the navy, causing a rift with his girlfriend Brigitte, who ultimately takes charge of the brigade.

As the story unfolds, Brigitte’s new role leads her to meet lieutenant Asmus while working on the ship where Peter is stationed. This shift in dynamics highlights the challenges faced by the characters in both their professional and personal lives. Hart am Wind presents a unique look at the impact of one individual’s actions on a group, set against the backdrop of military conscription and relationships at the workplace.
