Heimat ist kein Ort

The story follows Klaus, an unemployed taxi driver, Uwe, a gay dog sitter, and Inge, a strict nurse, who are facing the aftermath of their father's death. With their daughter Jule, they embark on a journey to fulfill an unusual last wish—a quest that takes them to significant locations in their East Prussian homeland. Along the way, they are accompanied by Krzysztow, a young Polish notary, who oversees the process and adds to the dynamics of the group.
