So, 'Hello, God' is a drama that dives deep into the lives of three troubled souls, which is pretty interesting given the time it was made. Byung-tae, who's dealing with cerebral paralysis, finds himself at this station office that becomes a kind of refuge for misfits. The pacing feels deliberate, almost languid at times, which lets you really soak in the tension and emotional weight. Chun-ja, with her chaotic energy and unexpected pregnancy, brings a rawness that disrupts everything. There's a sense of realism here, almost like a slice-of-life documentary, particularly in the way the characters interact and evolve. It's not polished but has its own charm. The performances are grounded, and you can really feel the weight of their struggles.
Themes of isolation and connection are strong. The pacing allows for character-driven moments.Practical effects are minimal, but the performances carry weight.
