Here I Am, Here I'm Not

The film follows Ramiro, a journalist who develops a phobia of speed after a car accident. Suspended from his job, he is approached by a mysterious publisher to write the unauthorized biography of Ana Patricia Jones Ahumada, a Chilean rock legend. As Ramiro delves into this investigation, he begins a relationship with Ana, which takes a tragic turn when she dies in another car accident.

Devastated by his loss, Ramiro encounters a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Ana. This meeting prompts him to attempt to reconstruct the image of his beloved, raising questions about coincidence and obsession. The narrative is a free adaptation of Hitchcock’s Vertigo, adding layers of psychological complexity to the story.
