Herr Bello

After the death of his mother, 12-year-old Max, the son of pharmacist Sternheim, longs for a pet. His wish is granted when a dog appears in his life, which he names Bello. The arrival of a new tenant, Verena Lichtblau, complicates Max's world further.

As Max navigates his changing circumstances, his father introduces a special mixture that leads to unexpected consequences. Bello consumes this mixture and transforms into a human, taking on the name Mr. Bello. With Max's support, Mr. Bello embarks on a journey of human experiences, helping Max rediscover joy in life. However, challenges await as Mr. Bello encounters trouble outside the safety of their home, propelling the narrative forward.
