Ezequiel, played by Tyron Ricketts, is a capoeira martial arts master who finds himself in a tough position after resigning from his job. His frustration stems from the new leadership at the school where he taught, leaving him without a job and facing difficulties as a dark-skinned immigrant seeking employment.

In a twist of fate, Ezequiel takes on a job cleaning antique public urinals for a small business owner, Reynaldo, and his colleague Jason. Ashamed of his new position, he struggles to share this part of his life with his wife, Marta, and son, Stevie. As Ezequiel grapples with his own aspirations for his son’s education, Stevie surprises him with his own dream of becoming a hairdresser instead.
