Het Mysterie van de Sardine

The film follows Tim Boerhave, a philosophy lecturer who loses his legs in a bomb attack. Following the incident, he becomes consumed by the search for the person responsible, motivated not just by the attack but by the deeper question of why he was targeted. As Tim and his family retreat to a quiet family hotel for recovery, he isolates himself in his room, fixated on piecing together the events leading up to the explosion.
