Himmelsheim

In Himmelsheim, the peaceful life of a Bavarian village faces upheaval when the German Federal Railway proposes a high-speed rail line. This construction project necessitates a massive tunnel, shaking the community and triggering old conflicts. Amidst the chaos, a traveler named Toni, equipped with a video mobile, becomes embroiled in a love triangle involving local residents Petra and Jonny, a driller working on the railway project.

As the villagers unite against the railway's encroachment, the cunning winemaker and council member, Münzel, finds a way to navigate the situation. The film combines humor with social commentary, reflecting the tensions that arise in small communities facing modern challenges.
