Homesick

The film follows Nakamura, an old man driving back to his hometown, who encounters a young girl named Akemi. After being abandoned by her boyfriend, Akemi joins Nakamura on his journey, illustrating a poignant exploration of homesickness. Their path intertwines with a middle-aged woman named Shizuko, who is fleeing with a large sum of money, and Goh, an ex-cop struggling with suicidal tendencies.
