Hope and a Little Sugar

The film follows Ali, a photographer and bike messenger in New York City. His life becomes intertwined with that of Saloni Oberoi, a married woman, after he develops feelings for her. Following the tragedy of September 11, Saloni's husband, Harry, is killed, which leads to escalating tensions between Ali and Harry's father, a retired Colonel. The Colonel's aggression towards Ali stems from his own experiences as a Sikh in a post-9/11 environment.
