Hwannyeo

Hwannyeo tells the story of Young-Shik, a playboy who is romantically involved with Ok-Ju, the daughter of a business owner. After an incident leads him to a mountain villa, he encounters Jin-Ho, a former veterinarian who now dissects animals following a leg injury. The narrative takes a dark turn when a mysterious woman in a wedding veil arrives, compelling Young-Shik to confront his past and ultimately leading to Ok-Ju's death.

As the plot unfolds, it is revealed that the woman in the veil is Mi-Ra, a figure from Young-Shik's past, who is haunted by her own scars and ultimately chooses to end her life. The film delves into complex emotional landscapes, showcasing the turmoil and suffering of its characters, particularly Young-Shik, as he grapples with loss and regret.
