The story centers on Kwok Ching, a soon-to-retire television weatherman who dreams of becoming a news anchor. At home, he faces challenges as his three children, each with their own lives and aspirations, grow increasingly frustrated with his interference.

Kwok Ching's eldest daughter, Mei Mei, is a successful lawyer married to a househusband, while his second daughter, Ching Ching, manages a supermarket and navigates her own romantic interests. The youngest son, Fu Shing, is a devoted fan of a starlet and finds himself in a love rivalry with a billionaire.
