I Saw What You Did (1988) is a curious little TV thriller that plays with tension and morality in a way that feels very much of its time. The movie centers on two girls, Lisa and Kim, whose prank calls spiral out of control when they connect with Adrian Lancer, a man on edge after committing murder. The atmosphere is thick with suspense, and there's a palpable sense of dread that builds as Adrian becomes increasingly unhinged. The performances, especially from the lead girls, manage to capture that youthful recklessness mixed with genuine fear. It’s interesting how the film contrasts the innocence of teenage antics with the dark reality of violence. The pacing is brisk, keeping you engaged while still allowing those moments of tension to linger. Definitely a noteworthy piece in the landscape of late '80s thrillers.
