In the Net

Set in a small coastal town where fishing is a way of life, In the Net portrays the rivalry between two friends, Niko and Mato, who are both in love with the same woman, Visnja. As tensions rise during a fishermen's strike against the boat owners, personal conflicts emerge, leading to Mato's betrayal of Niko. This pivotal moment results in Mato facing the scorn of the village and Visnja, who ultimately marries Niko.
