Intervened Events

The film, titled Intervened Events, is a collaborative effort featuring contributions from notable directors such as Edgardo Cozarinsky, Gustavo Fontán, Claudio Caldini, Andrés Di Tella, and Gabriela Golder. Each filmmaker presents a short piece utilizing archival footage from Sucesos Argentinos, a newsreel series that ran from 1938 to 1972.

This unique project provides insight into Argentina's cultural and historical narrative through a collection of diverse visual styles and perspectives. As the episodes of Sucesos Argentinos are being digitized by the Pablo C. Ducrós Hicken Film Museum in Buenos Aires, this film serves as a significant homage to the country's cinematic heritage and the art of documentary filmmaking.
