So, 'Iron Invader' is one of those quirky finds from the early 2010s that makes you scratch your head a bit. It’s got this odd mix of action and sci-fi, but also this artistic flair—who would think a local artist could create a giant sculpture out of a crashed satellite? The pacing is kind of uneven; you get this slow build, and then the iron monster comes alive with some surprisingly decent practical effects for its budget. The atmosphere feels small-town but then flips to this bigger conflict with the alien element. It doesn't take itself too seriously, which I appreciate. Performances are a bit hit-or-miss, but there's a charm in the way it plays with survival instincts and unintended consequences. It's a curious watch for collectors, for sure.
