I've Never Been to New York

In this film, TV presenter Lisa's life is consumed by her talk show and celebrity culture, leaving little room for personal connections. When her mother Maria suffers a fall and loses her memory, she recalls only her dream of visiting New York. This prompts Lisa to embark on a quest with her makeup artist Fred to find her mother and fulfill that wish.

Their journey takes them aboard a cruise ship heading to New York, where they must work as stowaways to cover their passage. As they navigate life on the ship, the dynamics between mother and daughter evolve, with Maria finding romance with a dancer named Otto and Lisa developing a connection with a statistician named Axel.
