The film follows Anwar Ahmed Zayed, a Pakistani sleeper cell activist intent on carrying out a series of bombings in Kolkata. As his plans unfold, the Anti Terrorist Squad, led by Imtiyaz Kabir, works tirelessly to intercept and dismantle the terrorist network. With the help of cryptologist Monali Bhattacharyya and the guidance of ADG Vikram Dwivedi, they manage to apprehend Zayed and his associates.

After serving four years in prison, Zayed claims to have transformed into a pious Muslim, seeking redemption and a chance at a normal life. He returns to his village, hoping to reconnect with his family, including his wife Sabina and daughter Razia. The film delves into the complexities of human nature and the struggle for forgiveness, set against a backdrop of socio-political turmoil in India.
