Janji Senja

In Janji Senja, the story takes place in a village and follows Mr. Arman's family, focusing on his daughter Maria. After Mr. Arman's death, Maria decides to pursue her dream of becoming a TNI-AD, as her father had hoped for her. This decision leads her away from home for three years of education and training.

When Maria returns to her hometown, she reunites with her mother and siblings, longing to reconnect with her family after her time away. However, her joy is short-lived as her mother falls ill and passes away shortly after her return, adding another layer of complexity to Maria's journey. The film captures the themes of duty, loss, and the struggle to honor family wishes while pursuing personal dreams.
