Jeppe på Bjerget

The film follows Jeppe, a laborer with a fondness for brandy, who finds himself in a peculiar situation after falling asleep in a field. Upon waking, he is mistakenly led to believe that he has died and ascended to heaven. The baron's lackeys play along, convincing Jeppe that he is the baron himself.

As Jeppe embraces his new identity, he seeks revenge on old enemies and indulges in his vices. The comedy unfolds as his antics create chaos both in the castle and in his past relationships.
