Kadavu

The story centers around Raju, a teenager who is adopted by Beeranikka, a Muslim ferryman, after being deserted by his mother. Raju becomes involved in ferrying people across the waters and encounters a girl returning to Kozhikode after her mother's death. Despite an invitation to join her family, Raju chooses to stay with his ferrying job.

The narrative takes a turn when Raju comes into possession of an ornament he believes belongs to the girl. His journey to return the ornament leads him to Kozhikode, but when he finds her, she does not recognize him and denies ownership of the ornament. Disheartened by the encounter, Raju returns to his life on the ferry, highlighting his struggles with identity and connection.
