Kalbermatten

The film follows the story of a deposed dictator and a persecuted imam who find refuge in the picturesque village of Kalbermatten. As the local community attempts to teach these refugees about democracy, tensions arise during a vote that leads to unexpected consequences. The women of the village take control, abolishing men's voting rights and replacing the mayor with his wife.

In a twist of events, the disempowered men ally with the refugees, leading to a humorous yet thought-provoking exploration of power and authority.
