Kangan

Kangan revolves around Radha, a beautiful village girl, and Kamal, the son of a zamindar. The narrative explores their love story as Kamal is sent to the city, where he becomes a successful novelist and playwright. Meanwhile, Radha faces persecution from the zamindar and his henchman, leading her to feign suicide in order to join Kamal in the city.

The film delves into themes of love, ambition, and the struggles of village life, set against the backdrop of early 20th-century India. As Radha travels to reunite with Kamal, she unknowingly arrives just as he is declaring love to another woman, unaware that he is merely reading lines from his play.
