The story follows a thirty-year-old man who is deeply influenced by the 1982 film Disco Dancer, which his father once cherished. Living in a world inspired by this film, he adopts the persona of its hero, creating an environment that reflects his love for Bollywood and disco. His life takes a turn as he becomes infatuated with Mouna, a girl from a different social class, which complicates his relationships with friends and family.

In a bid to win Mouna's heart, he decides to create a remake of another classic, Dirty Dancer, using a borrowed iPhone. This endeavor is set against the backdrop of a slum facing destruction by a ruthless antagonist named Barkour. Karyane Bollywood combines humor and drama, presenting a fresh narrative that appeals to fans of Bollywood cinema and those who appreciate stories of personal ambition and societal challenges.
