Katzendiebe

The film follows Fredi Rüegg, who is tasked with returning runaway cats to their owners. Living a mundane life in a garage, he finds himself entangled in a scheme with his financially-struggling colleague Alain. When a car accident puts them in debt to some Russians, they hatch a plan to abduct a cat with special healing abilities, believing the owner will pay a hefty ransom to retrieve it.

The comedic elements stem from their desperate attempts to navigate the challenges of their personal lives while executing this unusual plan. The film features a cast including Beat Schlatter, Patrick Frey, Babett Arens, and Roeland Wiesnekker, bringing their unique characters to life in this quirky storyline.
