The film follows a young couple, Hynek and Pavla, as they navigate the challenges of their crumbling marriage, influenced heavily by Hynek’s mother. When Pavla’s father arrives for a surprise visit, they feel compelled to maintain the facade of a happy marriage, leading to a series of humorous and awkward situations, particularly after he gifts them a new car.

The plot thickens when Pavla discovers that her father is also facing marital issues due to his own mistress. This revelation prompts all characters to confront their hidden grievances, creating a mix of comedy and emotional depth.
