Keepers of the Light

Keepers of the Light tells the story of a middle-aged woman in Los Angeles who is overwhelmed by her stressful job and the complexities of her family life. With a drug-addicted daughter facing legal troubles and the responsibility of four young grandchildren, she decides to make a significant change. Selling her home in California, she relocates to Austin, Texas, seeking a fresh start.

Upon arriving in Austin, she discovers a community of women at a drumming session who inspire her to embark on a journey to Peru. This film delves into the challenges of coping with change and finding support in unexpected places. It features performances from Aaron Haedt, Pelé Kizy, and Laura Lyman, who bring depth to this emotionally charged narrative.
