Kekasih follows Jiwo, a village boy, and Maria, the daughter of a nobleman, who meet during their junior high school years. Their youthful romance is interrupted when Maria is compelled to separate from Jiwo due to her parents’ wishes. As the film unfolds, the couple reunites years later, facing the same question of whether their love can endure.
