Kickback

The story follows Eun-chae, an idol singer facing expulsion from the industry due to a scandal. Following her father's death, she inherits a taekwondo gym laden with debt. Hee-chan, a former athlete turned gym instructor, is dedicated to training his students, each with their own challenges, for a national championship.

As Eun-chae returns home with plans to sell the gym, she encounters her ex-boyfriend, Soo-yeol, who presents her with a dangerous offer. The film delves into the dynamics of their relationships and the struggles they face while navigating their individual journeys. With a strong cast including Jo Soo-min, Kim Dong-han, Kim Kang-hyun, and Son Hwa-ryeong, Kickback brings a contemporary story of hope and determination to life.
