Kid Gloves

In Kid Gloves, a taxi carrying socialite Ruth Darrow becomes embroiled in a violent confrontation between hijacker Kid Gloves and bootleggers. After Ruth is injured, she is taken to an apartment where The Kid assists in her recovery. However, complications arise when Ruth's fiancé, John Stone, who is involved in the bootlegging business, discovers them and resorts to blackmail.

With a runtime of 68 minutes, the film showcases performances from notable actors of the era, including Conrad Nagel and Lois Wilson. Preserved by the George Eastman House, Kid Gloves captures the essence of late 1920s cinema and is a representation of the drama genre from this period.
