Kid-Thing

The film follows 10-year-old Annie, portrayed by Heather Kafka, as she engages in reckless activities like riding her BMX bike and vandalizing property. Her father, played by Nathan Zellner, is more focused on his goat-farming and demolition-derby pursuits than parenting, leaving Annie to explore her surroundings alone.

Annie's solitary adventures take a turn when she discovers a woman calling for help from an abandoned well. This encounter sparks a sense of responsibility in Annie, who feels compelled to visit the well daily.
