The film features a cast including Tian Yuan, Teddy Lin Wai-Kin, Natalie Zhang, Huang Jianxiang, and Chengpeng Li. Xiao Jiang, the director, aimed to capture the surreal experience of a creature influencing the world of sports. The octopus in the film plays a pivotal role, resembling Paul, and the filmmakers even invited the real Paul to premiere the movie in China.
