Knee High P.I. is one of those quirky little gems that you don’t quite know how to categorize. It’s a comedy, sure, but it dives deep into the absurdity of a pint-sized detective. Hank Dingo, our protagonist, is a tough-talking gumshoe with an ego as big as his ambition. The film's pacing is frantic, and the humor hits hard, often bordering on slapstick. You can’t help but chuckle as Hank hurls himself into the 'Case of the Missing Lawn Jockeys' with reckless abandon. The practical effects and set pieces have that charming low-budget feel — a bit rough around the edges but oddly fitting for the tone. The performances, especially that of the lead, are filled with a certain undeniable energy. It’s distinctive, for sure, in its off-the-wall approach to detective stories.
