Kumander Bawang

Set in the Philippines, Kumander Bawang follows Tikboy, a frail teenager who aspires to impress his grandfather through his participation in a Moro-Moro stage play. However, he soon discovers that he has a greater destiny as monsters begin to wreak havoc in his village, Matang Bato, under the control of Conde Regalado.

The film features a mix of intriguing elements, including garlic bombs and superhuman strength, which Tikboy harnesses after being mentored by the old hermit, Tinyente Kulog. As he transforms into Kumander Bawang, he battles the resurrected creatures and confronts the terror that has haunted his village for years.
