The film follows the character of D.S.P. Prithvi Raj Singh, portrayed by Sanjay Dutt, an honest police officer who takes on corrupt elements in society. His arrival in Mumbai leads to the dismantling of Iqbal Pasina's illegal operations, creating tension between law and crime.

As Prithvi Raj Singh navigates his duties, he enjoys a happy life with his wife Anjali, played by Mahima Chaudhry, and his sister Aarti. Aarti's romance with Sub-Inspector Avinash adds a personal dimension to the narrative.
