La Lola se va a los puertos

Set in 1860 in the Bay of San Fernando, Cadiz, La Lola se va a los puertos follows Lola, an Andalusian singer who attracts the affection of all men who meet her. Accompanied by guitarist Heredia, who silently loves her, she travels to the farmhouse of wealthy Don Diego, who is also enamored with her. The film explores themes of love and rivalry at a compromise party for Don Diego's son, José Luis, and his childhood fiancée, Rosario.

The film is a remake of a 1947 film directed by Juan de Orduña, adding historical significance to its narrative. With a runtime of 105 minutes, it features notable performances from Francisco Rabal, José Sancho, and Mary Begoña, enhancing its appeal to fans of Spanish cinema and comedy.
