La Metamorfosi

La Metamorfosi is a short film that combines film and electronic elements, resulting from a collaboration between the multimedia research group Giovanotti Mondani Meccanici and Loretta Mugnai. This adaptation of Kafka's renowned story features Julia Anzilotti as Mrs. Samsa and Rolando Mugnai as Mr. Samsa. Both actors bring their unique backgrounds, with Anzilotti's experience in Italian theater-dance and Mugnai's previous work in computer comics.

The film also includes a distinct appearance by Teresa De Sio, who portrays an ironic Grande Diva, communicating solely through soprano vocalizations. Comedian Daniele Trambusti plays her interpreter, adding a layer of humor to the narrative. Central to the film's emotional depth is the presence of televisions in the Samsa household, which serve to enhance the storytelling experience and reflect the characters' emotions.
