Laika

In Laika, the titular dog is captured and retrained to become a pioneer in astronautics. Her journey unfolds as she is launched into space, where she is joined by other animals from Houston and Baikonur. Their travels lead them to a distant planet, where they initially find peace among indigenous life forms.
